Position Summary:
Under direct supervision of the Retail Supervisor, provides guest service and cultivates guest goodwill to ensure repeat business.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes good guest service and communications skills while interacting with guests.
  • Builds long-term repeat relationships with guests through personal integrity, sales, and product suggestion.
  • Assists in loss prevention through awareness, attention to detail, and integrity.
  • Assists with monthly inventory.
  • Responsible for daily records and the proper handling of cash receipts in the retail store.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of items for sale and pricing and discounts.
  • Assists guests in an efficient and timely manner, ensuring every interaction is positive and professional.
  • Responsible for operating cash register, credit card machine and POS system.
  • Knowledge of departmental polices and procedures.
  • Receives product, restocks product practicing product-rotating procedures.
  • Responsible for the overall appearance of the Retail shops.
  • Responsible for balancing of cash register receipts at end of employee’s shift.
  • Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.
  • Performs other duties as required. 

Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED. Two year guest service experience; retail experience preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older.  No felony, theft or stealing convictions.   Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license.


Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly is required to sit and stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.  The employee frequently is required to walk.  The employee occasionally is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.


Work Environment:
Work is generally performed in an office and Casino setting with exposure to second-hand smoke and a high noise level.  Evening and/or weekend work may be required.  Extended hours and irregular shifts are required.
