Responsible for all store operations, the achievement of sales and profit objectives, and the development and execution of programs which maximize customer servicist of duties and responsibilities is illustrative only of the tasks performed by this position and is not all-inclusintial Duties & Responsibilities:
*  Provides day-to-day leadership and support regarding operational issues including: staffing, scheduling, shipping & receiving, payroll, safety, housekeeping & maintenance, bookkeeping and cashier functions and adherence to standard policies and procedures.
*  Plans and prepares work schedules and assigns employees to specific duties.
*  Responsible for assisting in the development and executive of programs, policies, and practices, which have customer satisfaction as the central operation objective.
*  Responsible for the achievement of sales, gross margin, expenses and net profit contribution objectives for the store.
*  Directs and participates in the stocking and merchandising of the sales floor including maximizing capacity of selling fixtures, visual presentations and floor models.
*  Responsible for employee development and the staffing of all departments with qualified, well-trained personnel.
*  Leads personnel in the identification of operational problems and put into place policies and procedures to solve such problems.
*  Develop and execute program and practices which foster a high motivation, high productivity, and a customer driven culture.
*  Responsible for entry of invoices into system.
*  Develop and executive programs which provide for optimum protection of company assets from loss due to internal and external theft, inaccurate record keeping and wastage.
*  Ensures personnel actions are consistent, organized, timely, thorough, fair and legal.
*  Practices sound security measures at all times while securing money, records, information and equipment.
*  Maintains consistent performance standards for all employees.  Identifies and analyzes problems and develops appropriate solutions.
*  Maintains employee’s files and records.
*  Maintains a good communication with managers, co-workers and maintains a positive and professional work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred and  three years experience in retail, management experience in customer service, operations or sales experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license and to include the following:

Knowledge, Abilities, Skills, and Certifications:
Ability to hire, provide direction to and develop internal personnel; identify strategic issues and develop short/long range plans; provide direction to and manage department heads and related personnel; budget and prioritize work load; identify key factor affecting personnel; and develop effective programs to maximize performance.
Knowledge of cash register operations, sales methods and techniques.
Knowledge of all the products/items in the store.
Knowledge of Peoplesoft software.
Ability to communicate effectively in the English language, both verbally and in writing with staff and the general public.
Ability to be personable, responsive, caring, knowledgeable and flexible with all customers. 
Ability to service customers in a professional appearance and manner.
Ability to lead, train and establish a high level of customer service within the department.
Ability to adapt to change.
Ability to create and maintain spreadsheets.
Ability to issue disciplinary action including but not limited to termination.
Skill in operating business computers and office machines, including in a Windows environment, specifically Word, Excel, Access, and presentation and graphics software (such as PowerPoint).

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly is required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.  The employee frequently is required to walk.  The employee occasionally is required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

Work Environment:
Work is generally performed in an interior setting or Convenience Store location.  Evening, graveyard, holiday and/or weekend work may be required.  Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required.
